Women Empowerment
Female feticides, rapes, dowry deaths and other atrocities against women are on the rise in India, despite the fact that many women are proving to be equal to men in many arenas of life. Male chauvinism and domination has great consequences and impact in India’s social structure for long. Empowering women for the country’s better future is the need of the hour.
‘Divine Care Women Fellowship’ is helping women to become self-confident and self-sufficient through special awareness programs, training programs etc. We try to make them self-reliant by teaching them tailoring, handicrafts, by giving them small scale business tips etc. and helping them to procure grants from the government agencies to serve themselves and their societies at large in a better way.
We focus on giving the women the much needed spiritual motivation, fellowship, counseling and comfort in all life situations by elderly and experienced ladies in our Churches throughout the country.
We deeply committed to the cause of women empowerment, aiming to create a society where women can thrive independently and confidently. Key initiatives include:
- Skill Development: Offering vocational training in tailoring, handicrafts, IT, and other skills to enhance employability.
- Entrepreneurship Support: Assisting women in starting small businesses through training and micro-financing opportunities.
- Health and Well-being: Conducting health camps and awareness drives on maternal health, nutrition, and hygiene.
- Legal Awareness: Educating women about their legal rights and providing support in cases of abuse or discrimination.
- Education Access: Promoting literacy and continuing education programs for women of all ages.
Through these efforts, we aim to empower women to become leaders, decision-makers, and contributors to their families and communities.
